What will happen at the Sunday worship services?
You’ll find a relaxed, friendly atmosphere at New River where rational, easy to understand messages are presented every week. At the 9am service we sing gospel music and hymns. If you have children, the 11am service is definitely for you. We sing more contemporary songs and then children are dismissed to go to our safe, sanitary area designed just for them called KIDS CREEK.
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
Here’s what won’t happen. We will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money.
We know that most people like to be anonymous for a while. You’ll be welcomed when you come in. Our team will assist you any way possible to help you find our Kids Creek or answer any questions. You’ll sit in comfortable seating. During the worship service you’ll have the option of filling out a “HEY” connection card.

What do I wear?
We’re casual and laidback, come in what is comfortable for you because New River is not about what you look like or what you wear.
What about my children?
We believe children are incredibly important! That’s why we have a tributary of New River called KIDS CREEK! It’s designed for children to have fun and learn. Kids Creek meets during the 11 am service.
How can I meet others and get connected?
We love it when people get involved. We have a fellowship dinner the 2nd Wednesday of each month called "The Gathering". We also offer study groups and periodic events.
