Fred Perkins
Lead Pastor
Fred is a storyteller who goes by a few different titles - Pastor, Husband, Dad, Papa, Neighbor and Friend. He's been in ministry for a long time. He's been married to his wife, Deb, even longer. They are blessed with 6 kids (2 sons, 4 daughters) and 23 grandchildren.

Chris Swisher
Associate Pastor
Chris is a deeply sensitive man who not only serves as one of our pastors but also has oversight over a few other churches as our District Superintendent. He has a long history with New River Church and is loved by our congregation. Beyond church, Chris and his wife, Kim (see below) have one adult son. Not only is he a husband and dad, he is also a successful business manager.

Jonathan Malanowski
Worship Pastor
Jonathan has a heart for worship. His love for the Lord is reflected wonderfully through his service as a gifted musician, singer and preacher. He and his wife, Jinney, have four beautiful children. In his spare time, he owns and manages his own company.

Spencer & Kristine Weiss
Student Leaders
Spencer & Kristine are a couple committed to Christ, each other, and to serving our Student Ministry. They are knowledgeable, gifted leaders and teachers who love to incorporate adventure into everything with a tremendous awareness of the challenges our young people face. Their love, compassion, patience, and maturity help them build relationships students need and desire.

Julianne Mayberry
Care Ministry Director
Julianne is a caring, empathetic person who seeks to foster community in the church through small group education. She leads Women of the Word and GriefShare, and is always available for visiting ministry and mentoring.

Kim Swisher
Office Manager
Kim brings organization, efficiency, and excellence in everything she does. With her sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach, she ensures our office is running smoothly while supporting our pastors and congregation. We like to say, "there's no horsing around with Kim". However, that's an inside joke, because in her spare time you will more than likely find her riding horseback somewhere.
